easyfabric.severity

How loudly a check result is reported, separate from what the load does.

A rung maps onto the standard logging level, so it lands in the existing log_level column of Meta.dbo.logging: a monitor filters on log_level IN ('WARNING', 'CRITICAL') without a column of its own. none has no level: the result is not logged.

Logging level for severity, or WARNING's when the name is unknown.

escalate

def escalate(base: str, expired: bool) -> str

Raise base to critical once its window has expired.

none stays none: an explicit silence is not overridden.

thresholds_inverted

def thresholds_inverted(warn_after: int, critical_after) -> bool

Whether a critical threshold sits at or below the warn threshold.
